Where Critical Opinions Are Made…

Who Are We: THIRDandFOUR is brought to you by two attorneys who are first and foremost sports fanatics.  We additionally share a love for and an extensive knowledge of sports law, sports media, and the unique relationship between public relations/image cultivation and the professional athlete.

Concept: The concept behind THIRDandFOUR is quite simple.  On the football field when the offense is facing 3rd down and 4 yards to go for a first down, several critical decisions must be made, including, but not limited to, whether to run or throw the ball.  With either option, the offense potentially faces an even more critical, future decision of whether to punt or “go for it” on 4th down and short yardage.  Similarly, this website will provide critical opinions about unique and somewhat controversial news and issues within the sports world.

While it’s a football analogy, we will touch on everything from the NBA Finals to the Olympics.  We’ll delve into sports law, sports business, sports media, and even some pop culture.  We hope to be a little controversial and spark some debate, so please join the discussion with comments and feedback.  Come to THIRDandFOUR to stay current on our opinions or simply to be entertained.  This website is a work in progress, and we hope you’ll come along for the ride.
